Ambition (noun): an earnest desire for some type of achievement or distinction, as power, honor, fame, or wealth, and the willingness to strive for its attainment
Ambition is something I try to put first in my whole mindset. In school, I try to achieve A-B Honor roll which drives me to get there. Within my blog I have goals, not set goals but dreams which get me to be better. I am a dreamer but I don’t have my head in the clouds if that actually makes sense.
In the issue that just came out of The Smart Girls Group, Maggie C {not me people} wrote an amazing article on ambition and it really got me thinking.
I’m a teenage blogger, interacting with brands, writing and achieving pretty cool statistics. This past December/January I was in Girls Life Magazine and I run the social media/website for my school.
My whole thinking led to what actually “drives” me? If you follow me on Twitter you realize my posts about maturity. When someone tells me I am mature I think that motivates me the most. If you tell me I can’t do something I’ll prove you wrong.
That is all partially the nature of my being. I am an Aries, “If a business idea comes their way, they tend to plunge right in. Aries are more than willing to take a gamble and follow their dreams and goals.”. This page describes me in a nutshell and is too true! I also find having role models or positive people in my life helps me dream which then pushes me to go further.
